Hard Dodger Repair - St Pete FL Contacts?

Good morning! My husband and I recently purchased a Contest 46 and are currently working on a refit while we wait for the next window to go cruising. Our boat has a great hard dodger, but is suffering from neglect and water damage. We live in St. Pete, FL and I'm hoping I can contact a teak specialist to come to the boat and give us a perspective on how to repair and then maintain the woodwork.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the St. Pete / Tampa area? Thanks in advance!

Re: Hard Dodger Repair - St Pete FL Contacts?

I’m in Gulfport fixing up a Formosa Spindrift- tons of teak down below. I’m working with Custom Teak Marine Woodwork. He’s in St.Pete and does excellent work. He’ll come out to the boat and give you an assessment and all that.

I doubt he’d tell you how to effect the repair itself, but he could certainly do it, then advise you on maintenance and sustainment.

Best of luck!
