Haulout/Storage yards in the Gulf

Hello all,
I have recently purchased a 51ft sailboat in Florida and I am busy getting her in shape to head off towards the South Pacific islands and home to New Zealand. As with all things boating, 1 job is turning into 3 more jobs

I am not a US citizen and boat is not US registered, therefore I need to be out of Florida in the next 6 weeks (180 days after purchase). As I still have lots of items to purchase I would like to stay in the US as long as I can. The boat is currently in Tampa and I was hoping to get some recommendations on haulout facilities in neighboring states (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana) /gulf of Mexico. I need to haul and store her for a few more months while I go back to work. Ideally I would like a yard that allows me to do a few projects on her myself. Draft is 7ft which may limit my choices.

Any ideas?

Galveston Texas. Payco marina will allow you to do work on her yourself. At 7 feet the tide needs to be high but staying channel will most likely allow you to get there. It is just off the intercostal.

Turner marine in Mobile bay.
When I asked about doing my own bottom job they said yes. Obviously further investigation would be prudent.

Maybe this thread is too outdated?
