Help! What deck structure does the Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 44 CC has?

Hi all,

I sidestep a previous thread about buying a boat to a different thread with a simple question. Preferably from owners of the Oceanis Clipper 44 CC 1998 models. Note: this is the center cockpit model around 96 or so built.

What is the deck structure? I was in the assumption that it had a balsa cored deck structure, but was today told it is not.

The Beneteau site does not mention Balsa core structure deck in the specification of the 44CC but does mention it in the specs for the 36CC.

It is a complete mistery to me. I plan to reach out to Beneteau tomorrow as well.

a quick way to find out....drill a hole thru' it or remove a stanchion bolt or something, though you are unlikely to find a "core" at any bolt location...

I also have a Beneteau......there is no sign of a core anywhere that I'm aware of....

Bavaria use hard hevy Divinycell closed-cell foam special order blue color.

price like gold if need repair. you are lucky balsa core is cheap and Beneteau is a lighter and faster boat.
