High Temp Duct Tape or What?

My engine bay hatch has 2" foam insulation that was edged with a duct tape. 5 years on, the tape is now gooey and falling off. I was going to replace it with 3M 8979N "Nuclear Grade" duct tape rated to 200°F. Is there a better product or method of making a clean edge that can take the heat, short of a wood or fiberglass fiddle?

Thanks sailormed. I've tried it and found it to be too stiff. It won't adhere well to softer surfaces, and is the devil to go around a corner.

Looks like the pros use Soundown's aluminized mylar tape, e.g. p/n HTA30SC, available at Defender and other shops.

You might want to look into metallic insulation tape.
