How long do stainless exhaust elbows last?

I've got a Yanmar 4JHTE with a stainless mixing elbow. I suspect it is as much as 9 years old.

There are no signs of corrosion. What is its life expectancy?

Just hard to say. Yanmar's are known more for clogging than corroding I think. A couple of asian boats I had had welded cheap SS mufflers and they seemed to last over 14 years.

I've never had a stainless one, factory cast elbows usually fail due to interior clogging, a hard "coke" like material builds up in the section near the exit.
