How Long in the Water ?

Been a year since last haul out. Rubbing the hull each month or so - not a huge jub to keep it pretty clean.
How long is the longest you have had her in the water without a haul-out, clean and renew antifoul?

3 years is my routine schedule. I have the running gear cleaned and zincs changed as needed. I use a hard ablative paint - 2 1/2 coats.

How do you paint 1/2 a coat?

We use 2 coats of Petit Ultima SR--with a 3rd at the water line--on the bottom. We give the hull a scrub once a month with a chunk of discarded carpet to keep it clean and we easily get 3 years between haul-outs here in southwest Florida. Frankly we coud go longer but we like to have a good inspection of the running gear etc.

FWIW...
