How to attach a plastic water tank to an aluminium hull

Hi,
I just bought a 12gal plastic water tank and I'm trying to attach it to my aluminium hull. The hull is not leveled at the location of the tank so I will need to slightly adjust the height of one side of the tank.

I have a couple of those devices that I plan to use to attach the tank

My initial idea was to screw them to wood blocks, to cut the wood blocks so that they have the proper height, and to glue the wood blocks to the hull using Sika

I'm concerned for both the integrity of the hull and the robustness of the system, notably in the event of a capsize.

I can probably tackle the robustness issue by drilling holes through the frames and use ropes to further attach the tank, but I don't know what to do to make sure the wood/sika/aluminium mixture doesn't end up deteriorating. I've notably read that some moisture in the wood could corrode the aluminium.

Could anybody point me in the right direction ?
Thanks in advance !

You can glue a piece of PVC board to the hull and screw or bolt straight into that. If you stick it with epoxy it will be there for good, even upside-down. Having said that, having never worked on aluminum I don't know how it responds to epoxy. 4200 or sika will do the same thing. You can get the board at most glass supply stores. Be careful not to buy starboard. Although it is great stuff, nothing will stick to it.

use clickbond to create hull attachment points - strong glue, no wood rotting.
