How to identify CNG vs Propane

I have a new boat and am unsure if it has a CNG or Propane system. I have a picture of the tank and a description of the stove being a princess three burner. Can someone help me identify if this is propane or CNG please?

My experience says it's propane. CNG is usually skinny bottles like scuba tanks. Take it to a propane fill station where they will determine. Your stove should also have a nameplate w/ info.

Propane/LPG. CNG uses higher pressure tanks, and those are propane fittings.

As the above poster said CNG tanks are long and skinny like scuba tanks, and they are usually stored on their side. CNG tanks also don’t have any welds on them whereas propane tanks do. Checking the stove will also give you an idea.

Re: How to identify CNG vs Propane

CNG is held in cylinders of about 3,200 psi, or considerably more than in most oxygen cylinders. Propane becomes a liquid at below 200 psi. Examine the cylinder. Light construction and welds mean it can only hold propane. Natural gas cylinders are tough, single piece, thick, smooth and generally on steroids.
