Installing digital tstat on Waeco CU-100

hi, I am upgrading from mechanical thermostat to digital for my fridge with Adler Barbour CU-100. Originally, the thermostat is a phone type plug in but the one I bought is not. Anyone knows how to set this up?
I read that I can just loop wire C and T together and it should bypass the telephone tstat?
Or do I wire the '' cooling '' ( from digital thermostat) 2 wires to C and T?

Thanks in advance for the help

The mechanical t/stat is a switch, two wires connect to it supplying or denying power to the compressor. The digital t/stat has (or should have) a connection on the back labeled switch and another power, with the sensor to another connection. You simply need to install the sensor to an appropriate location within the cabinet, connect power to the unit and connect the two wires that were connected to the mech t/stat to the digital version and you should be good to go.
