Italian Electrolux stove

I had to remove my Italian Electrolux stove to finish my fridge install (what a dirty mess it was behind it) and I could finally see the mfg tag. (see attached) While the top burners work fine, I am unable to light the oven. There appears to be a lighting hole but the match goes out each time I try to light the stove. Am I lighting in the correct spot? The stove knob originally did not turn but does now but maybe I am not getting enough propane flowing down there. Any suggestions?

I also need a new brass compression sleeve for the 10 mm copper propane line. Can't seem to find 10 mm here in the US (ACE and McMaster) - suggestions?

Re: Italian Electrolux stove

Hi Ed,
I have the same oven...now without the glass in the door.....90 deg roll and a poorly stowed machete...oops.

Did you have any luck finding a supplier of parts for this stove?

Regards, John

Re: Italian Electrolux stove

John - now I did not. I ended up opening up the stove gas orifice slightly and it works although little temp control, and still a pain to light. I need to add a pizo igniter from a gas grill.
I think you will need a glass in the door to keep the heat in....
