Keel step mast / structural question?

Iv'e read of deck stepped mast crushing the cabin top inward from years of stress...do keel stepped mast boats suffer the same amount of stress on the cabin top, internal walls, flooring, cabinetry etc...around the area of the mast?

Reason i ask is because on wall to the head on my boat iv'e noticed that at the base of the wall aft, next to the mast the wall or decorative trim piece has pulled away about 1/4" from the bulkhead its attached to pulling out the woodscrew slightly in the process. also on the other side of this spot where the wall has moved is the base/corner of my fiberglass shower pan. the fiberglass has a corresponding crack about an inch or so long. and to add the holly/teak flooring has sagged about an 1/8" in this little hallway between the main salon and v-berth where this head wall is located. dont know how long its been like this, bought the boat like this so its not recent and all of a sudden. could have been like this for 20 years...dunno?

structurally tabbing all looks good, deck does not look distorted, all doors in the area around mast look true and plumb, close effortlessly. i figured the movement was just due to age and the natural flexibility of fiberglass and wood but was wondering after reading a blog from someone who suffered structural problems from a deck stepped mast.
