Lewmar New Standard Portlights

Hi All,

The acrylic on my portlights is badly crazed. I am looking to replace the acrylic myself but cannot see a way to remove the handles and hinges from the existing acrylic without risking damage.

Does anybody know of a way they can be removed? The Lewmar site says the handles/hinges are glued to the acrylic.
