Lubrication for Shore Power Connectors

My 50amp shore power connectors have over the years become difficult to "twist" connect male to female inlets/outlets both on the boat and at the power station. Does anyone have a recommendation for a lubricant which would work and not become sticky or a problem with time.

I prefer Super Lube dielectric synthetic grease for many applications. Available in an 3oz. tube and a little goes a long way.
