Re: micron extra or micron csc

I haven't seen it for sale anywhere yet, but Interlux lists a new replacement for Micron Extra. It's listed as Micron Extra SPC. My understanding is that the old Micron Extra is basically CSC with an anti slime additive. The new stuff seems more similar to Micron 66 based on the info I can find, but it's fresh water compatible (66 is not). Kinda like they took Micron 99 (very expensive and pro application for large boats only) and made it available for more uses.

Re: micron extra or micron csc

Can't compare since I've only used CSC. I've been quite happy with the CSC in both fresh (Great Lakes) and salt water (St. Lawrence/Newfoundland).

We've used the Micron CSC too. But to be totally up to date, perhaps you should try Omicron?
