need advice on these...

thruhull for my toilet...sins I now have a portta pottie can I use this hole for a manual bilge pump?

also the smaler hole, would like to use it for water intake for my sink (pedal pump)

or I glass both hole and make the boat safer??

it's not high enough for a bilge pump. think about how much good that thru-hull will do once you've got water above the floor boards.

even if the hose make a loop to deck level??

I would fill those holes and make new ones at more appropriate place. It's a minor job and you will congratulate yourself for a work done properly. When we bought our boat, we have sealed 7 out of 10 holes and never have we looked back. Bilge pump outlet certainly above waterline.

I don't get it. He's talking about a manual pump that will have check valves, and he is willing to add a loop, though it should have an anti-siphon valve. ABYC says to have an anti siphon loop and a seacock if your pump discharge is underwater.

If you're talking about pumping efficiency, if I've thought this through correctly, once you've displaced the air out of the hose I don't think it matters how deep the outlet is.

just to be clear, this would mostly be used to pump out my shower water but can be used for bildge water also....however an electric high capacity pump will be instaled under the companion way, this pump will have a truhull at proper level.
