Re: Need to know how it's called and where find

Maybe, maybe not.
I'd probably work with whatever I had available, looked the best, and fit the best.
I like the anodized aluminum idea. You should be able to find that, it would the longest lasting, and pretty good looking.
Maybe in THAT case size wouldn't matter?

Regarding thickness I'm not worry of its deformation as I think will use 5+ in any case but of its appearance because of possible protruding edges in case of exceeding the thickness of the pedestal slot for this plate.
Oh maybe my Eng is poor to discuss such technical details but I'm trying.
Thanks.

Ah, hadn't noticed. Your English is fine

Can you not measure the thickness of the existing piece pictured?

Anyway, I'd guess any decent plastic (or polyethelene, etc.) between 5-15mm ought to work for rigidity, maybe influenced by how it looks to you.

FWIW, Kings says they have "overseas" distributors, in case they may have somebody nearer you.

Here, we can also order stuff like that from McMaster-Carr (mcmaster.com) which is huge supply house for fasteners and probably at least one each of everything else in the world. I'd suspect they ship anywhere too, although your point about shipping cost is well taken.

It would be too easy. Actually the boat moored more than 1,600 km from me in other country so just have no possibility to do this right now. And planning to relocate there but will be limited in time so will not have possibility to order after measuring..

Finally made a decision to purchase PVC from local supplier and try with it. If something goes wrong I will at least receive some experience.

Thanks to all!
