That's interesting.

My hero is Jerome Poncet who has been sailing around Antarctica for the last 40 years.

He and a couple of mates built a 30ft yacht (Damien) and sailed up the Amazon and then down the coast of South America to Antartica, Then Jerome went out on his own, built another yacht, got married and raised a family on the yacht.
