Oceanis 390 Stern Tube

Looking for a little knowledge from any Oceanis 390 (or sister model) owners. I need to replace the cooling water nipple on the stern tube where the original brass oem part snapped off.

But I’m struggling to figure out how to get to it through any of the engine bay access ports. I can only just reach it with my finger tips from the port quarter berth, but don’t think I can extract the broken part or re-tap for new nipple.

Has anyone disassembled parts of the aft berth to get better access? If so, please share how you did it.
