Painting Boat - Awlcraft SE

Anyone have any experience with the SE line? It is going to replace the 2000 line and I'm looking to go ahead and invest in the SE.

We are going to do this project ourselves (a friend of mine has some experience in the automotive world - so this is going to be new to us both). We have all the correct tools... just waiting on the paint to come in which is going to take a month (the Awlcraft SE factory was moved during the holidays and will re-open on the 15th... and then the backorders start to be filled).

Why SE? I don't think it will replace 2000, but rather complement it. SE stands for "special effects". It provides pearlescent and other "special" finishes which were not possible with 2000. Unless you are looking for special effects like pearlescence, there's no reason to go there. And special finishes would be crazy on a cruising boat, too difficult to repair.
