Painting bottom when coats worn off in places ( Steel Hull )

Painting bottom when coats worn off in places ( Steel Hull )

10m steel yacht only couple years old.
Was sand-blasted after building and painted with * many * coats of 2-pack epoxy.
Sadly, she was neglected for a long period last year. The mainsail was left draped over the side and - in the area - wearing the paint layers away as she moved in the wind and tide.
Paint has been taken right back to the grey undercoat. Thankfully, no steel shows. There is no rust.
.
She was then out of the water for a period, then put in 6 weeks ago without antifouling and sailed to Auckland NZ
There is currently no antifouling and also this area of worn away paint layer(s).
Wanting to take her out protect her.

My question? How to proceed?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Other than a light sanding, a thinners wipe and a couple of coats of recoat with coal tar epoxy there is not much more you can do, or is required.
