Portlight Pegs missing

The ports on my boat all have these 4 pegs - I suppose for holding a screen?

Anyway, one of them has lost the pegs. Suggestions for replacing the peg, or at least for sealing the hole?

Re: Portlight Pegs missing

If there is no thread in the hole. Thread a new one and screw in a replacement pin.

Or

drill the hole to be deep enough to accept replacement pin.
Make sure it's dry and clean.
Make a brass pin of proper dimensions.
Check that pin fits snug.
Mask area around hole with tape.
Put a light coat of unthickened but catalized epoxy on the hole walls and on the part of the pin going into the hole.
Maybe even sand the wet epoxy slightly in on the pin.
Put pin into hole while epoxy is uncured.
Take tape off & enjoy.
