On those burners, it is just a matter of selecting either alcohol or Kerosene jets then using the fuel that corresponds.

Don't let anyone freak you out about kerosene, it is the safest stove fuel and is pretty easy to manage. You cannot use it to prime effectively so, as Tatia says, you still prime with alcohol but that's not a big deal. I use these:



They are called "Dispensing bottles" are self closing, don't spill when tipped, and are easy to use.
