Rafiki 37 interior plans

A friend of mine has inherited a Rafiki 37 which has had serious water intrusion in the past resulting in all the wood work being rotted away so ALL the interior furniture has been removed leaving him with a totally empty boat!!!!

He wants to do a very basic rebuild of the interior to make it habitable and usable, not the full boat show version

Question
Can anyone point my friend in the right directions of where to get hold of plans and photographs of what the interior of a Rafiki looks like so he can make a start at re building the inside?

Also, as there is nothing there at the moment, any suggestions for improvements to the original design?

We have searched the internet and found very little and also looked at the information on SailData but it is too sketcky to be of much use

Glad I caught this thread before it slid down the list. I own a Rafiki 37. Glad to help if I can.

I own a set of the design blueprints, but I'm not sure that would help much with how the interior looks. It shows the location of thing, and structural elements. I could send pics of our boat though.

So sad about the extensive water damage. The boats are beautiful inside (and out). Wonderful that your friend is going to restore this good old boat.
