People welder is not designers, hire somebody for design .
can you assemble a complex surface mount microcontroller based monitoring system for 50 euros , I suspect not, I can , so what

You don't sperate the designer from the maker, Thats a recipe for a row , you want one contractor to assume full responsibility to deliver and fit the whole system

remeber you bought a boat to go sailing, not to major in DIY projects

Now I need to find an electrician to help me with the new solar panels & MPPT installation. If any of you know a good one in the Lefkas area please let me know.
Could you please advise who you used in the end for the arch and solar panels? I'm about to do the same this year.

Re: Recommendation Solar Arch in Greece, Lefkada

Hello, this is my first post here, and I wish to share my experience because I had the same difficulty in finding a builder for my rollbars in this area. And I was finally directed to a good professional who made exactly what I wanted: his name is Nasis (info@nasis.gr), and his workshop is in Preveza. Prices are very reasonable.
He made me a sturdy arch with davit, independant of the pushpit (but for two small links), that carries 3.34 m2 (W 2.5 x L 1.34) of solar panels, a GPS antenna, the aft nav light, a search torch light, and miscellaneous hooks and cleats.
I worked with him to design the piece, and the attached file shows the final version, made with freecad (I have to sort in my pictures to show the real stuff).

here are some pictures, but they are not the final version. Several hooks and cleats are missing. The fixture of the Zodiac is also modified.
