Refrigerant cooler maintenance

Hi everyone

We have this refrigerant cooler in our S&S Defiance 30. There is a compressor attached to the little Nanni 260HE. The cooler takes in raw seawater from the strainer and after passing through the cooler, the water goes to the impeller pump on the Nanni and cools the engine. A refrigerant drier is also connected to the cooler. We have only had the boat since April. I'm wondering if these coolers need maintenance? I flushed the system yesterday and a bit of debris came out, but after a couple of buckets, the water was clear sea water. If the system works OK to cool our fridge, should I just leave well alone?
