Reinventing Coulmbia 45 rubrail replacement....................................... ..

Ahoy everybody,
I've removed original rub rail originally sealing C-45s deck-hull connection. Rubber wraparound seals and waterproofs the deck-hull overlap but time and elements oxidized until rigidity now allows leaks...bad leaks. Efforts to find a solution to replace same or similar material in dimensions that fit continue. If you have any ideas or links to others dealing in this vexing crises our aging Columbia sailboat community is facing please share. Stay dry!

have you checked TACO metals on line they have about the biggest selection available and some is actually orig. con. fig. good luck. if they don't have then you may have to request custom reman. of orig component
