Renewing a Rubber Bumper on a Boat

We have a monohaul that has a protective rubber stripe that goes around the boat. It is maybe 2 inches wide and 1.5 inches high, basically square. Over the years this stripe has become old looking and looks dried out, it is not cracking. Any ideas of a product that could be used to help make it look nice again. Thanks

Ozone and UV eventually gets to all synthetic material. A good scrub and a few coats of Armorall vinyl restorer should help.

Taco makes replacements for most rubber rub rail inserts. There are tricks to proper installation, but I believe they have a guide.
