Repairing a Pedrick 40

Greeting fellow mariners.
I have recently been asked to supervise the repair and restoration
of a early 70s, Pedrick 40
Years ago the boat went on a reef and was salvaged with a side stove in,
the keel torn loose and rudder damage. I did not see the damage.

The side has been glassed, the keel glassed to the hull and the rudder
repaired. These repairs were done by a shady, reprobate who has since died
I will most likely be, at least, removing the keel bolt nuts and lowering the
keel to effect repairs. This will require cutting away the fiberglass keel/ hull patch.

I'm looking for info about the keel bolts and attachment to the keel, fairing
the keel to hull
and also the rudder/ shaft construction and any other info which may be helpful for a renovation.

You are a brave man!

I wouldn't have anything to do with the repair of a yacht that had lost it's bolted on keel.
