Replace molded seat with adjustable chair?

One ship I am looking at is a Mainship 40 sedan bridge. One of the issues with this design is that the helm seat is a molding with a cushion, not a proper chair. Therefore, the helmsman must sit at the edge of the seat with all the disadvantages that that entails. The photograph below shows the situation.

Is there any easy way to replace a molding like this with an adjustable chair?

There may be a slider mechanism included with what is shown in the photo.

However, where are the seat belts ? The photo looks like it was taken just prior to the lovely lady in pink
flying over the radar arch !!
