Retro fitting a Self-Tacking Headsail

Anyone know if its possible to retrofit a self tacking headsail to a Bavaria 37?

You would have to design a system for it, but i can't see why not. It may require a very small sail however.

Google 'Hoyt Boom'. Will get you all the information you'll need to make the conversion.

Question why you want to do it?? Performance in light air will suck with that small a headsail. Tacking a loose footed non over lapping headsail is such a breeze can't imagine the benefit of a boomed headsail. Main thing, the boom is always in the way whether at sea or at anchor and is a danger when allowed to flog.
