RH V LH Stuffing Box
I am replacing my left hand rotation Yanmar with a right hand rotation Beta. Do I need to replace the stuffing box with a LH threaded on, or does rotation direction not matter?

I don't think it matters. My boat has counter rotating shafts but both stuffing boxes are threaded the same direction. It's worked fine for 38 years that way.
