Rigger

Have a Tartan 27 and need to do the Standing Rigging. Would like to go back with sta-lock or simular especially the deck level. Also need electrical run for mast: anchor light, steaming light, foredeck light and vhf antena. She is located at the Apollo Beach Marina in Florida. Close to Tampa Bay

Should be able to do in water.

Are you seeking a rigger to do the work, or announcing your intention to DIY?

It's a lot easier to rewire the masthead if you pull the mast. You want to tie the whole bundle together to avoid wires flogging loose inside and going bad. You'll end up with a thick bundle that won't be easy to install excpt flat on the ground.

Seeing as you are re rigging redoing the mast wiring is a good time to do it as well as redo the deck seal on a keel stepped mast (if it's not deck stepped).

Thanks, a little more information.

At 60 plus and 3 hernias already, don't see me doing the bosun chair. Could be a good counter weight though. So looking for a rigger in the area.

Was hoping not to pull the mast. It is keel stepped and not leaking. The marina I am at does not have the proper equipement for pulling the mast. Making a case for cabin stepped.
