Sailmaker Question for SoCal

Can anyone recommend a good sailmaker in the San Diego area? There are many, but I am looking for firsthand (or reliable second hand) information on who is the best, who to avoid, etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am in need of someone who can make custom battens for my mainsail. When I bought the boat, I knew they were missing, but I figured I would find them below decks somewhere. I never did, so now I need new ones.
