Stern Pulpit Bent by Irene

The boat moored in front of mine twisted around in the wind and bent my stern pulpit beyond repair (1981 Bristol 35.5)

I think we will still be able to sail for our week's cruise come next week, but wondering if anyone knows of a good manufacturer to fabricate a new one around here in Rhode Island. Or if anyone is aware of who might have a template for the original.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Regards,

Steven

Tops in Quality has all the templates. I think they are in Michigan but can send you one, I am sure. Good luck.

Hannah,

Tops in Quality is now White Water Marine IIRC. Still good work.

Bruce and Cindy sold the business some years ago.

Thanks for the tips - I am going to try and get some of the bends out on Fri, fit a new outboard motor bracket, and go sailing for a week.

On my return, will begin the repair process.

You might try Kato Marine in Annapolis. I have a 35.5 also. They just made some stainless "straps" they call them to reinforce my stern rail.
