Strip Preventer

Fascinating. Never heard of this stuff.
Fastener strip preventer.
Just thought to make others aware.
Anyone using it?

Use the proper sized bit for the fastening and the need for a filler compound is negated.

Proper fit, proper pressure, not too much torque. Here's a fine one: Japanese machine screws look like they are Phillips heads. Nope. They are JIS heads, and if you use Phillips screw drivers on your Honda motorcycle, you will indeed strip the heads. Learned that one the hard way.

A way to meet Orion Bill's standard is to insert the driver, and then wiggle it before turning. If it wiggles, it's not the right driver.
