Teck deck replacement for 90'

Good day all.

I have a 90' sailing boat from 1998 which is within 12-18 months of needing new teak decks.

Does anyone here have experience with yards in the eastern med for boats of this size who charge "reasonable" prices for professional work?

Thank you in advance.

The amount of labor involved with this project is huge, and good quality teak is very expensive.

Can you give us an idea of what you consider reasonable?

Re: Teck deck replacement for 90'

I have had preliminary pricing all over the shop (EUR900-1800), hence my posting in an open forum because I'd like to see if people have recent experiences in this size range.

The work is exactly the same as on any other size of boat, just more m^2 and deck fittings. And experience, plus trustworthy sourcing of the right teak is vital.

I run an older larger boat on a budget - I'm not a hedge fund tycoon! And I don't want to let her die.

Re: Teck deck replacement for 90'

At a boatyard in Turkey : 35 EUR per hour. This is labour cost.

Slightly less if a team hired off-site.

Plus materials - cost depending on material grade and amount purchased.

A typical 50ft boat like Bene or Bava - teak decks age 2000*ish = total cost 50-70k USD.

This data point is from 2018. Now it is somewhat more expensive due to pretty wild inflation here.
