The Numbers on a Circuit Diagram

Can anyone tell me what the numbers preceded by the # are?

So it’s identification of wires by number, not the ABYC/AWG numbers?

I don’t know US notations

The rest of the world is mm2

I interpret your diagram as wire 41 is positive switch control , wire number 42 is negative

Wires identification number on a schematic and on the board.
In this example, #41, just after breaker N°2 is powering Chart lamp by switcher (no #) and the return to ground of this Chart lamp is #42.
#66 is connected on breaker or directly on #41, etc...

No, absolutely not. Some would be non-existent sizes (#89? #112?) and all those make absoluely no sense as sizes.
