Thru-Hull Transducer - Design Considerations

I dunno the water temp down there but it sounds like it all can be done under water. A nice (but temporary until next haul out) fairing can be done using those epoxy sticks. A hack saw will deal with threads sticking out etc.

On turbulence: test it using the engine, increasing speed in steps of 100 rpm's from dead slow to full out and try it on a couple of angles to the waves. The results might just be acceptable until next haul-out.
