to laminate or not

Hi, guys. i've just peeled gelcoat for drying hull. Will i need to laminate fiberglass with epoxy or not before to put filler and followed by applying epoxy barrier coats? Thanks a lot for good advice in advance!

Re: to laminate or not

Depend how much material the gelplane take out, if you just remove the gel layer then with the barrier coat job your done, now if you peel several layers of mat and deep enough to see roving or other diferent glass material then you should laminate again...
cheers.
