Re: Two rules on one controller?

This is a bit "off-topic" but...

I came across a seller on eBay who was selling a 3000+ gph Rule bilge pump at quite a low price. It was 5 years old and never been used. I asked what the story was and he said his insurance company required the bilge pumps to be replaced every 5 years. Maybe that would be a good buy for someone looking for a back-up pump?

Re: Two rules on one controller?

What about connecting the second direct to the house battery no switch (using its internal auto)?

Thats the way it was done with the two old units I replaced

When I replaced both the old float style rules with the resistance 1100s someone on here told me you could straight exchange them at westmarine

That said after dissecting the old one, I view these like zincs, sacrificial but on calendar date or IRAN, I was going to change mine out at 3 years I think (made a calendar reminder lol).
