L. Francis Herreshoff's. The Meadowlark design was originally a 33' in his "Sensible Cruising Designs", but stretched to 37. Built in Mattapoisett,MA. by Allan Vaites in '87 - glass hull, plywood superstructure glassed over.

Very narrow beam of 8', down to 7.5 @ WL, leeboards of asymmetrical section, and sails to weather surprisingly well. Shallow box keel with 5000# lead shoe.

our cat was converted from varnish timber interior to white a while ago and absolutely transformed the boat

some timber trim maintained to break it up

here is a sample of how it looks

I understand the sharpie boats are narrow, but this one look surprisingly habitable.
I have read Vaites's book, must have been a really good boat.

Yes, I prefer painted over in this boat.
Looks much cleaner.
