It is amazing how translucent fibreglass can be when you are inside the boat and the sun is shining. Must boats are covered up inside so we dont see what you are seeing. I did a similar thing when I had part of the interior of a very stout boat exposed. Sunlight right through the hull and gel coat! Not sure why you are only seeing it in one place though....?
