What are these underwater bow fittings?

I took a picture of a boat parked behind mine. Well actually, part of the boat parked behind mine, with the visible part being about the same length as the entire length of my boat...

There are a couple of attachments sticking out from the bottom of the hull. Firstly, starting on the left, there is a hose connected to the hull. Any ideas what this is? I CANNOT believe this would be a black water exhaust à la a camper van. Not with a multimillion $ yacht like this, and useable only when on the hard.

The retractable bow prop I recognise, so that's OK.

But then what are those things right at the bow?? They look like two hydraulic rams, pointing straight down. Any ideas on that one would be interesting to hear!

Maybe parts of a hidden anchor system.

Re: What are these underwater bow fittings?

I'd guess that hose is to supply cooling water to a generator or refrigeration system while on the hard.

As for the two hyrdaulic rams at the bow? As a WAG - retractable underwater camera pod?

There are two of them, and i don't know for sure what they are, but I have seen drop boards forward that can be lowered for windward work. Perhaps that's what they are.

Re: What are these underwater bow fittings?

Might be a retractable anchor system. I've seen those in Mega Sailyachts before.
I can not see it very well, but do they stick out of the same hole?

The very small thing to the left of the two big ones, behind the scaffolding looks a bit like a Hydrogenerator leg.
Not sure on either though.

As to the hose, might be a temporary aircon drain?

Re: What are these underwater bow fittings?

No idea about the other stuff, but the hose is for sure a temporary measure to prevent bilge, grey water, air conditioning or dehumidifier runoff, or anything else inside the boat from draining onto the hard stand.

Very common when people are living aboard when on the hard for the various drains. Not so much for super yachts, but maybe the crew stays on board.

Re: What are these underwater bow fittings?

The hose would be for water supply, probably cooling water to test run the engine or similar on the hard. I cannot make out the hydraulic rams mentioned as the picture size is not large enough and I cannot zoom in. a close up would be helpful.

Looks like they support the opening part hull, the panel may be seen on he ground in the background. When lowered... torpedo launcher?

They look a lot like the leg for the bow thruster that still has a propeller attached. Is it possible that this yard has three bow thrusters ?

I’m betting anchor system. Or depth charge launcher...

Re: What are these underwater bow fittings?

The hose is most likely a drain hose for waste liquids (such as grey water) which they want not to splash onto the hardstand.

The two metal pieces protruding from the front are recepticals for an anchor which is pulled up into the bow. You can see the anchor shape cut out on the hull.

Thats what I thought, bow thruster legs with the propulsion units off.

What would be the purpose of multiple bow thrusters?
