What is this?

It came with my boat and I cannot figure it out nor can google search. It’s 15” tall x11” wide. It’s full of something heavy inside, maybe 25-30 lbs.

Looks like a tank meant to hold fluid of some sort. Looks like it clamped to round posts to secure it in place.

Open one of the caps and smell, that may let you know what is in it.
