What is this hardware on the deck?

I don't know what this hardware on my forward deck near the cleats is for. Can someone enlighten me?

Re: What is this hardware on the deck?

To hold down, secure a spade type anchor just as a danforth.

Just a toe breaker if you don't plan on having a danforth secured there.
recommend removing and filling holes with epoxy.

two flukes go in the two V shaped parts, crown goes in the square aft.

I'm in luck, I have a Danforth, but I have zero idea how the two things mate together...

Re: What is this hardware on the deck?

Take the anchor to the boat, lay it on deck with shank pointed forward.

It will be obvious. Like i said. the two points of the fluke go into the 2 V shaped pieces.

Shank in the most forward piece.
