Wheel conversion

While this issue has been covered many times my request is a little unique in that I am looking for a throw-over pedestal.

I have found a "pendular concept" pedestal by Jefa but this is not the unit I am seeking.

Some months ago I was watching a U-tube video and noted the the sailboat's pedestal was mounted slightly off the centerline. As the helmsman prepared to tack, he threw the upper half of the pedestal to leward and executed the tack, quickly leaving the helm once again high, to windward.

Can anyone here help identify the pedestal unit that does this? The unit was of a square section, and the upper portion located in a large "V" when landed.

The Jefa product is the only such product I've ever come across. Is it possible the one you saw was custom? Such a concept could be fabricated on a one-off basis, if you're handy with fiberglass and the required mechanics.

Re: Wheel conversion

Hi Nairbg

Just wondering if this is the one you are referring to?

EDIT Re-reading your post I don't think it is.
