Which closed cell Foam for fridge re-fit?

When's enuff (Rs) enuff??
Aren't Rs cumulative? "stacking"?
C'mon...really? R-30-40-60- for acooler box ?

I recentlfinished up a super-cooler. Coleman cheaply poly-vinyl. with typicalstyro between. Add 1//2" layer of foiled PIC, thenlayer of Loew's green 3/4"on sides and top (bottom has two layers). I fully expect it to be near to R-10. Cost vs R vs bulk............... priceless
Still n'all; got to open it *sometime* and it will have air mix. Ooops! coolant loss. With no mechanical device to replace the cold, I'll just have to live with it.

Expecting or getting thbest efficiency from a cooler/fridge is a real feat. A lot depends on how much money you throw at it!? Dollar cost avg. the add-on vs what the longevity is vs what it cost to operate w/o the extra expense. I can buy a lot of ice for what $2400 reefer. cost. LOL
