Looking for a good but reasonable cost boat yard to restore a 42’ Alden designed trawler. Work boat finish. The boat was very well built, and structurally sound.
Please respond based on your direct experience.
Please give nature and extent of work and cost if possible.
Thinking Maine or Chesapeake.

Boothbay Harbor Shipyard? Looks like they're familiar with work boat finish from what we saw hauled there. Rockland may have some candidates as well. We do our own work so only have observations, not direct experience.
