Australian Ship Registration

Hi all,
Does anyone know how long the process takes to register a yacht in Australia under the the Australian Ship Register???????.

Yes.

Its a few weeks if you have ALL the necessary documents: Bill of Sale and Builders Certificate.

They wont FedEx stuff to you so you need to get it emailed to you or mailed to an aussie address and then fedex'ed to you.

They are quite efficient but remember they have their list of requirements that you must fulfil so basically its in your court.

With all the correct docs you should get it through in 3 weeks.

You must stay in the same country while you are waiting for registration.
