Bahamas Marinas

Looking for current advice on marina costs in the Bahamas. Checked the older threads and most are very old. I draw 6'-8" and plan to visit the Bahamas this fall for a couple months. Looking for economical slips for much of the time and will anchor out some too or use moorings.
Any suggestions or links would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Where in the Bahamas? Costs for marinas in the Abacos fall between $300 a month to thousands of dollars a month.

Re: Bahamas Marinas

Economical and Bahamas are mutually exclusive terms, but there are marinas in the more developed areas in the Bahamas.

Ive been into marinas at: Bimini, Chub Cay, Georgetown, Staniel Cay, Highborne Cay, Clarence Town, Rum Cay, Andros,....but that was many years ago.

Take a look at Active Captain/Navionics, or any Bahamas cruising guide....should be many listed.

Re: Bahamas Marinas

Check Active Captain. With your draft, you are going to have difficulties finding marinas with enough water. Source: I sailed the Exumas Winter before last with a 6'6" draft.
